About me

MY BACKGROUND

Presently I am pursuing Dual degree (MS+PhD) at Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati in the field of High Voltage engineering. My research topic is broadly related to enhancing the dielectric properties of transformer insulating liquids, considering the electrical and thermophysical performance and also developing alternative eco-friendly solutions to the conventional transformer oils.

I have completed my graduation in the field of Electrical engineering from NIT, Silchar. Thereafter, I worked with Sterlite Technologies Limited as an Associate Manager-Design. My work encompassed designing of XLPE insulated power cables ranging from 3.3KV to 220KV, analysis of tenders, preparing the Bill of Material, Product Data Sheet & General Technical Particulars. I was also associated with the Quality Control department and look into the physical testing of the cables starting from the 1st stage to the last stage. I also provided Technical support to Marketing.

Research interests: Condition monitoring of insulating liquids, Nanofluids, Liquid Dielectrics, Green transformer oils, Power Engineering, High voltage, Electromagnetics, Designing XLPE insulated power cables.
